Eindhoven Airport (EIN) serves Southern Netherlands, including the regions of North Brabant and Limburg.
The airport is located 7 km west of Eindhoven city centre, near the industrial business park Flight Forum.

Eindhoven Airport is the second busiest airport in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), to which it is a suitable low-cost and leisure-focused alternative due to the growth of budget airlines and the efficient rail transportation within the country, allowing travelers to easily reach the airport within 1-2 hours from most points in the Netherlands.
Major Airlines - Ryanair, Transavia, Wizz Air
Eindhoven Airport is dominated by 3 of the largest European low-cost carriers:
Ryanair: Operates more than 500 flights per month to over 35 destinations across Europe.
Transavia: A Dutch LCC focused on leisure destinations in Southern Europe and North Africa.
Wizz Air: Offers a strong route map, including Eastern and Southern Europe.

Seasonal and charter operators also serve the airport, mainly during the summer. These are mostly TUI Fly Netherlands and TUI Fly Belgium with direct flights to seaside destinations in Spain, Greece, Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt.
There are no full-service airlines at Eindhoven Airport. For long-haul flights, you can either travel overland to Amsterdam, which is a global hub, or take a flight to a larger European airport like Rome, Madrid, or Warsaw and self-transfer there.

Terminal Layout and Gates
Eindhoven Airport has one terminal with 12 boarding gates: 10 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor.
The terminal is quite compact and walking distances are short - even the farthest gates are no more than 5 minutes away from the Security check area. Queues are rarely long either, except during school holidays and peak summer, when they can reach up to 45 minutes. Fast Track (to skip queues) is bookable at 12.50 EUR per person - handy if you’re in a rush.
Due to its status as a low-cost hub, Eindhoven Airport does not offer connecting flights and doesn’t have a transit area.
The airport closes at midnight every day and reopens at 4:30 AM, so you cannot remain in the terminal overnight.
WiFi and Other Services
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. Connecting doesn’t require registration, unless you opt to use the premium paid service. Look for an open network with “Eindhoven Airport (free)” in the name in the list of available ones to connect.
Other passenger services at EIN include:
ATMs before and after security.
Currency exchange by GWK Travelex in the Departure Hall. Closed on Sundays.
Information desks in Departures and Arrivals.
Lost & Found desk in the Arrivals hall.
Baggage trolleys near the parking payment machines, curbside in front of the terminal, and in other places. Requires a coin deposit of 1 or 2 EUR.
Baby-changing rooms on both floors.
Children’s Play Area called Kiddyland is located on the first floor.
Conference rooms and a business center to rent on the first floor.
Smoking area near the Panorama Terrace on the first floor.
Massage-O-Matic: Two units available after Security on the first floor. Costs 2 EUR for a 5-minute massage.
Meditation centre, doubling as a prayer room on the first floor.
Photo booth on the first floor, opposite the business center.

Lounges at Eindhoven Airport
The only lounge available at Eindhoven Airport is the Privium ExpressLounge. It opened in 2025 and is located on the first floor, airside, opposite Gates 11 and 12. It is open daily from 05:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
The lounge offers a buffet of hot and cold dishes, drinks, business facilities, work booths, comfortable seating, and quiet areas.
All passengers, regardless of airline, are welcome. Entry passes cost 45 EUR. Privium Plus members can enter for free and bring a guest for 40 EUR. However, the lounge does not accept Priority Pass, DragonPass, or similar lounge membership programs.

Dining Options at EIN
Being a relatively small airport and focused on low-cost travel, Eindhoven Airport has few options when it comes to dining, but you can nevertheless easily buy a snack or a cup of coffee before your flight.
You have a few more options before Security. For example:
La Place: A popular casual Dutch outlet offering sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, and various pastries.
McDonald’s: A well-known burger chain.
Starbucks: Coffee, snacks, and light meals, both landside and airside.
After Security, you become a captive audience to the only two places (besides Starbucks) for food and drinks. Prices are also higher than landside.
The Bar: A casual bar serving drinks, simple food, and snacks.
Cloudclub: A self-service restaurant with an all-day menu.
Most eateries operate between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Outside of this time, your only option becomes one of the vending machines for drinks or desserts.
Transport to and from the airport
Buses 400 and 401 connect Eindhoven Airport with Eindhoven Central Station. Buses leave as frequently as every 5 minutes and reach their destination in 20-25 minutes. A one-way ticket costs 5.15 EUR, and you can pay by tapping your card on the bus. At Eindhoven Centraal, you can take trains to other destinations in the Netherlands, like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Maastricht, and The Hague.

Bus line 20 connects EIN with the NS station Best. The single ticket price is the same - 5.15 EUR.
Flixbus operates several routes that stop at Eindhoven Airport before proceeding to other cities in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, or Germany.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the taxi lane outside the terminal. Taxis will use the meter by default, and it is almost guaranteed to be the best deal. Trips to Eindhoven city center take around 15-20 minutes and cost 30-40 EUR. Taxis can be hired for trips to other cities, but it’s not economical past a 30-km radius.
You can also rent a car from one of the car rental companies that have desks inside the terminal. Rental cars are returned at a special parking lot about 400 meters from the terminal. Companies present at EIN include Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt.

P4 Bronze +: A budget-friendly parking space about 6 minutes from the terminal. Costs 16.31 EUR per day, if prebooked. Covered parking is possible.

If you come to the airport by bicycle, you can park it in the unguarded bicycle parking shed, located on the ground floor of P1 Gold. There, you can also find a repair column and a bicycle tire pump.
Similarly, there is also an unguarded motorcycle parking on the ground floor of P1 Gold.
