Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) is the largest airport in Armenia and the country’s main international gateway. It serves Yerevan, the capital and largest city in Armenia.

The airport is located about 15 km west of central Yerevan, near the town of Zvartnots.
Yerevan is one of the key air hubs in the Caucasus region. In 2025, EVN set a new record, surpassing 5.6 million passengers, becoming the second-busiest in the region after Baku’s Heydar Aliyev (GYD).
Major Airlines - Armenian Airways, FlyOne Armenia
Yerevan Zvartnots Airport is a hub for 4 Armenian airlines:
Armenia Airways: Despite being the flag carrier, it only flies direct to Moscow and Tehran.
FlyOne Armenia: A low-cost airline with numerous services to Europe and Russia, including seasonal flights to holiday hotspots. It’s the airline with the most flights and most routes at EVN.
Novair: A small domestic airline with only 1 route between Yerevan and Syunik in southern Armenia.
Shirak Avia: An airline banned from flying to the EU, so all of its routes are to airports in Russia and a seasonal service to the Maldives.

Two more airlines stand out with a more sizeable amount of flights at Zvartnots. Wizz Air operates budget-friendly flights to 15-20 destinations in Europe (depending on the season), while Aeroflot links Yerevan with some of the largest airports in Russia.
Full-service airlines that fly to Yerevan from their respective hubs in Europe and Asia include Aegean Airlines, Air France, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines.

Terminal Layout and Gates
Zvartnots has only one operational passenger terminal - Terminal 2. It opened in 2011, at which time the old terminal, Terminal 1, closed for good. It now serves only as a transit section for some of the gates and is connected to the new terminal by a 50-meter-long corridor.

Terminal 2 is modern and often voted as one of the best in the region. It includes Arrivals on the ground floor (Level 1) and Departures on the 2nd floor:
Departures Hall: Includes 21 check-in counters, one security screening checkpoint, passport control, and 9 boarding gates, of which 3 have jetbridges.
Arrivals Hall: Immigration control, 2 baggage carousels, customs, and exits to ground transportation.

Yerevan Airport has an airside transit area. If you are both of your flights are under the same PNR, you may remain within the transit area and won’t have to clear Immigration. During transit, follow the "Transfer Desk" signs. The terminal is small, and walking distances are under 15 minutes at the longest.
