Innsbruck Airport (INN) is Austria's third-busiest airport after Vienna and Salzburg. It is the aerial gateway to the Tyrol region, and flying into it makes it easy to reach some of Europe's best-known ski resorts.

The airport is located 4 km west of Innsbruck's city centre.
Innsbruck Airport operates year-round but is much busier during the winter, when skiers from all over Europe head to St. Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, Sölden, Kitzbühel, Mayrhofen, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the Stubai Valley, and other ski resorts across the Austrian Alps.
Major Airlines - Austrian Airlines, Eurowings
Austrian Airlines has at least one daily flight to Vienna throughout the year. During the winter, the airline also flies to larger European capitals such as Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, and Warsaw.

The airline with the most routes and flights at INN is Eurowings. The airline flies skiers to Innsbruck from several German cities in the winter and allows holidaymakers to reach seaside towns in Greece, Spain, and Italy in the summer.
Other large airlines that fly to/from Innsbruck Airport in the summer are Transavia (serves Amsterdam), easyJet (serves London-Gatwick), Jet2.com (serves Birmingham and Manchester), and the leisure carrier TUI Airways (serves destinations in Spain and Turkey).
Many of the already mentioned airlines also fly in the winter. Other carriers that link winter sport enthusiasts with the Austrian Alps include Air Baltic, British Airways, and Finnair.
Terminal Layout and Gates
Innsbruck Airport has a single terminal building. It is small and compact, with walking distances never longer than 5 minutes.

Most of the time, INN is not very busy, and queues are short. However, at certain times during the winter season, queues of up to 30 minutes can form at both the Check-in and the Security Checkpoint.
Another thing to note is that the airport only has apron boarding, so you will have to walk directly across the tarmac to the aircraft. It’s a good idea to prepare for this during the winter when stepping outside into Alpine temperatures is guaranteed.
Free Wi-Fi and other services
Innsbruck Airport offers unlimited free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal.
Additional passenger services at the airport include:
ATMs: Several Austrian banks have cash machines in Arrivals.
Lost & Found: There are two Lost & Found counters in the Arrivals Hall.
Airport tours: Offered from mid-May to the end of September, and appointments are required. Tours last 1 hour and cost 35 EUR per group.

The lounge offers various types of food and drinks, reading materials, and Wi-Fi. It’s relatively small, but it offers a peaceful atmosphere with views of the apron and surrounding scenic mountains.
Dining Options at INN

The main public transport option is Bus Route F, which connects the airport directly with Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) via the city centre. The first bus from the main station leaves at 5:32 AM, while the last bus from the airport leaves at 11:08 PM. Single tickets cost 2.60 EUR, purchasable from the ticket machine at the bus stop. If you’d like a ticket that allows transfers, you need to use the IVB mobile app.
