Terminals of LIM Airport

The airport comprises a single terminal. It is divided into separate sections that handle domestic and international flights respectively.

This is about to change (or has changed at the time of your reading this) on 30 March 2025 when a brand new terminal of LIM will open, able to handle up to 30 million passengers yearly.

The current terminal is pretty modern and equipped with many facilities. It spans two levels. On the ground floor, you will find the International Arrivals (Door 1 to 5), the check-in desks (Door 6 to 9), and the Domestic Arrivals (Door 10 to 13). The upper floor is reserved for security checks and departure gates.

The main terminal of LIM will soon become the old one with the opening of a massive new terminal building.

Connecting Flights and Transit

Given the single-terminal design, transferring between domestic and international flights is relatively straightforward. No major changes are expected after the new terminal becomes operational.

However, if you are connecting from an international flight to a domestic one you must clear immigration, collect you luggage, and check in again for the domestic segment unless flying one airline that has specifically instructed you that your luggage will be checked in through to the final destination.
