Wrocław Airport, officially Nicolaus Copernicus Wrocław Airport (WRO), is a popular low-cost Polish airport in the country’s southwest.
The airport is located 10 km west of Wrocław city centre in the residential neighborhood of Strachowice.

WRO handled nearly 5 million passengers in 2025, making it Poland’s fifth-busiest airport.
Major Airlines - Ryanair, Wizz Air
Wrocław Airport is predominantly a low-cost gateway with 2 airlines providing the majority of flights and routes:
Ryanair offers an extensive network of 50 destinations, including direct connections to the UK, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, and more. It opens dozens of new routes every season.
Wizz Air is a budget airline that focuses on routes to Central and Eastern Europe. From Wrocław, it operates more than 20 routes, with new ones opened every year.
LOT Polish Airlines, the country’s flag carrier, offers several flights per day to the Polish capital (Warsaw-Chopin Airport) and a once-weekly direct service to Seoul Incheon (ICN).

Other full-service airlines at WRO include Lufthansa, KLM, SWISS, and Scandinavian Airlines. These airlines link Wroclaw with major hubs in Europe, allowing onward travel to hundreds of destinations worldwide.
Enter Air, a Polish charter and leisure airline, offers seasonal and charter services from Wroclaw, serving Poles' holiday demand for seaside destinations.

Terminal Layout and Gates
Wrocław Airport has just one passenger terminal, spread over three levels, as is standard with modern airports:
Arrivals (Level 0): Includes Baggage claim, all airline desks, information points, exits to ground transportation, and other services.
Departures (Level +1): Houses all check-in counters, the security checkpoint, most dining and shopping options, and all 12 boarding gates.
Observation Deck (Level +2): Accessible from Level 0.

The terminal is quite compact, so you don’t have to walk much between the security checkpoint and any of the gates. If self-transiting, allow extra time to factor in possible delays and queues. The same applies if traveling during the summer, as that’s when it’s most likely for lines to form at check-in and security.
The airport is open 24 hours.
Free Wi-Fi and other services
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal (often with a time limit before re-login).
ATMs: Provided by several banks, including PKO BP, Pekao SA, and ATMs Euronet oraz Planet Cash. You can find them landside, in the Departure hall, and near Baggage reclaim.
Currency exchange provided by Money Exchange Poland. Located in both Departures (open from 4:30 AM to 8 PM) and Arrivals (open from 8 AM to 0:30 AM).
Information desk: Located landside on level 0.
Photo booth: Use for passport, visa, or other photos, including souvenir photos.
First Aid: Level 0, landside.
Post Office: Level 0, landside. Open from Monday to Thursday (10 AM to 4 PM) and Fri from 2 PM to 8 PM.
Luggage storage: Level 0, landside. Costs 30 PLN for small bags or 40 PLN for bigger bags per day.
Chapel: Level -1, landside. Conducts Holy Masses on Sundays and holidays at 10:30 AM.
VIP and business services allowing express check-in, priority lanes, and a VIP parking space.
Fast Track worth 30 PLN if you buy it at the airport; 21 PLN if you buy it online beforehand.
Conference center for up to 100 people. Reservation required.

Lounges at Wrocław Airport
There is only one lounge at WRO, called simply the Executive Lounge. It is located airside, within the Schengen area of Departures. If you are flying outside of Schengen, you can still use the lounge, including the fast track passage to passport control.
The lounge is open 24/7 and offers comfortable seating zones, work tables, a smoking area, wi-fi, TV, and light refreshments.
To access this lounge, you can fly with business class with any airline, be a member of an eligible membership program like Priority Pass, Lounge Key, or Dragon Pass, or pay the 149 PLN entrance fee at the door.
Dining Options at WRO
Your options for dining at Wrocław Airport are quite limited: a few cafés, bars, and eateries before and after Security, though not a lot of choice.
Before the Security check, in the public area of the airport, there are just 3 places where you can buy something to eat or drink:
Check-in Bar: Offers hot and cold meals, salads, ice cream, waffles, and cocktails. Open daily from 4 AM until the last flight.
Costa Coffee: Open from 3 AM to 7 PM for coffee, sandwiches, and desserts.
On Time Restaurant: Serves brunch or early dinner plus drinks from 11 AM to 6 PM.
Airside, the dining options are not much more diverse:
Bread & Co: A bakery/café with lots of options for a quick meal. Open from 4 AM to midnight.
Gate Bar: A quick-serve bar open from 4:30 AM until the last flight of the day.
Paul: A bakery that opens as early as 4 AM and offers light snacks, sandwiches, and drinks throughout the day.
New York Hot Dog: The only place that remains open 24/7. It’s a small kiosk that serves hot dogs, bao and baozi buns, bubble tea, and other cold drinks.
Transport to and from the airport
Several MPK public bus lines link Wrocław Airport with the city center:
Line 106 (daytime): Connects the airport with the Central Railway Station/Dworzec Główny (Dworcowa) every 15 minutes.
Line 129 (daytime): Connects the airport with Poświęcka every 12-15 minutes.
Line 206 (night): Connects the airport with Central Bus Station/Dworzec Autobusowy every hour between midnight and 4:36 AM.
The fare on any of the buses is 4.60 PLN.

There is also an Express Bus that connects WRO with the bus and train stations (Dworzec Wrocław), which leaves every 50 minutes and costs 10 PLN.
A rail link to Wrocław Główny (Central Station) is planned and under construction, with a set completion timeline in 2032.
An alternative way to get to the city, and more convenient if you have a precise destination you want to reach with a lot of luggage, is to take one of the taxis from the rank in front of Arrivals. Taxi Plus and Partner Taxi are the two official companies providing rides from WRO. Their approximate charges to the city center are around 80 PLN during the day.
Explore private transfers from Wrocław Airport to Wrocław, Częstochowa, or Katowice.
The ridesharing options, Bolt, Uber, and Freenow, are often cheaper and more transparent than traditional taxis when ordered through their respective app.
Lastly, should you wish to explore more of Poland independently, you can rent a car directly at the WRO. The car rental desks are located in the baggage reclaim zone. Of the car rental agencies available onsite, notable ones include Avis, Enterprise/National, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Panek, KaizenRent, Flex To Go, and Sixt.
Parking at Wrocław Airport
WRO features extensive parking zones near the terminal for different durations of stay and budgets.
You may stop right in front of Departures in the Kiss & Fly Zone, which is free for the first 10 minutes. It’s most suitable for drop-offs and pick-ups as the price increases quickly afterwards - 10 PLN per every 10 minutes.
Short-term and hourly parking is available in 4 lots close to the terminal - less than a 5-minute walk away.
Car Parks A, B, and C: Lot A is adjacent to the terminal, whereas B and C are in front of it. Prices start at 8 PLN per 30 minutes for the first 2 hours and 8 PLN per hour after that, up to a daily limit of 100 PLN. Additional days cost less, as low as 50 PLN.
Car Park G: Situated in front of the terminal, past the Kiss&Fly Zone and the curbside area. Costs 6 PLN per 30 minutes for the first 2 hours and 8 PLN per hour after that, up to a daily limit of 130 PLN. Additional days cost less, as low as 60 PLN.
Long-term parking is most economical in Car Park D. It is about 1 km from the terminal, past Car Park A, but is served by a free shuttle, which makes moving between the two quick and easy. Daily rates start at 80 PLN and decrease every additional day, down to as low as 20 PLN.
You will receive cheaper rates at all car parks if you book online via the official airport page. In addition, by booking online, you will get a 10% discount at the On Time restaurant and free Fast Track for up to 2 people as long as your receipt value is at least 50 PLN.
There are also premium spaces nearest to the departure hall in the Car Park VIP. Parking rates there are significantly higher for the increased comfort and convenience - 14 PLN per 30 minutes up to 2 hours, 14 PLN per hour thereafter, 150 PLN for the first day, and as low as 60 PLN per day after that.
Hotels near Wrocław Airport
There’s no hotel directly inside the terminal, but the Hampton by Hilton Wroclaw Airport is within walking distance of it (<300 meters). This brand-new, modern 3-star hotel offers soundproofed rooms, so you can’t hear the planes, an early to-go breakfast if your flight is one of the first (a plentiful buffet otherwise), and an on-site restaurant with wonderful cocktails on the menu.
Another nearby accommodation option is the Arche Hotel Wrocław, located about 1.2 km away from the terminal. Unfortunately, they do not offer a shuttle, but they more than make up for its lack with their restaurant, bar, fitness center, and cozy rooms.
